Bad weather hampers driving in parts of New Mexico but storm has less impact than anticipated

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Difficult driving conditions are reported across large areas of New Mexico, particularly in the north and west, as snowfall continues from a strong upper level low-pressure over Arizona continues to spread eastward.

However, the National Weather Service as of Thursday morning says it has canceled many of the warning and advisories in areas where most of the snowfall has already moved though with less impact than was anticipated.
