Body of West Tennessee teen who died of gunshot wound in 1999 to be exhumed

MCKENZIE, Tennessee — A West Tennessee prosecutor says the body of a teenager who died about 15 years ago will be exhumed.

The Jackson Sun (http://bit.ly/1tHCKH2) reports District Attorney Matt Stowe says the move is an effort to glean more evidence the death of 15-year-old Tony Drumwright of McKenzie.

According to the newspaper's archives, Drumwright's fatal shooting was ruled a homicide after an autopsy. His parents said they found him shot in the head in their backyard.
