TULSA, Oklahoma — Tulsa firefighters say a 51-year-old man has died in a house fire on the city's south side.

Investigators say the man was found near a kitchen door of the home after the firefighters were called about 1 p.m. Sunday.

The man's name was not immediately released and a suspected cause of the blaze was not immediately known.

Firefighters say a woman who also lived in the home was apparently asleep and awoke to find the rear of the home on fire.
