Snow, ice reported on some northern Arizona highways as storm system moves across region

Share/Save/Bookmark

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona — Snow and icy conditions are reported on some northern Arizona highways Thursday morning.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says it has snowplows working.

ADOT says highways with poor conditions include Interstate 40 near Flagstaff, Williams and Holbrook.

The National Weather Service says a storm system moving across the region will produce winds with gusts up near 40 mph, with light snow accumulations possible in higher elevations.

Forecasts also call for showers and thunderstorms across east-central Arizona.
