SYRACUSE, New York — Police in Syracuse say they're investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man on the city's north side.

Department spokesman Sgt. Richard Helterline says police were called at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday to a block where they found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police on Monday afternoon identified the victim as Kiair Abdellatif of Syracuse.

No arrests have been made..
