GRAY, Louisiana — Authorities say a 14-year-old student at H.L. Bourgeois High School in Gray has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat.

Terrebonne Sheriff Jerry Larpenter tells The Courier (http://bit.ly/1M31e2C) students were evacuated Monday after the principal received an email about a bomb inside the school. Larpenter says the student confessed to sending it and making as a similar threat last Tuesday that also caused an evacuation.

He says the student was booked on two counts of false communication of a bomb threat and is being held at the Terrebonne Parish Juvenile Detention Center.

The student's name was not released because he is a juvenile.
