LAS VEGAS — Authorities have identified a 28-year-old man shot and killed in the living room of a downtown Las Vegas apartment as Derek Cooper Jr.

The Clark County coroner says Cooper died of gunshot wounds to the chest, and ruled the case a homicide.

Police say they're seeking two men who were seen running from the Sixth Street apartment following an argument and the shooting about 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The assailants haven't been found.
