Right-hander Nick Vincent activated from disabled list by San Diego Padres

SAN DIEGO — Right-hander Nick Vincent was activated from the disabled list by the San Diego Padres before Saturday's game against the New York Mets.

Vincent, who had been sidelined by a sore right shoulder, pitched two scoreless innings during a pair of relief appearances for Class A Lake Elsinore during an injury rehabilitation assignment. He is 0-2 with an 5.67 ERA in 30 games for the Padres this season.
