ELIZABETHTOWN, Pennsylvania — State fire marshals are trying to find out what started a two-alarm blaze that claimed the life of a central Pennsylvania woman as it destroyed her home.

Fire crews in Lancaster County were called to the Mount Joy Township home shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday but found the structure engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.

Authorities said the body of 47-year-old Judy Risser was later found on the first floor.

Officials said several people, including the victim's boyfriend, tried to rescue her but failed. He was treated for smoke inhalation.
