Authorities: Boy, 17, struck, killed by CN freight train while walking in Macomb Co. hometown

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Authorities in southeastern Michigan say a 17-year-old boy was killed when a CN freight train hit him as he walked on tracks in Macomb County.
WWJ-AM says that police have identified the victim as Wilfried E. Fuchs of Macomb Township.
Authorities say he was walking in his hometown when he was hit by a Canadian National Railway Co. train about 10 a.m. Saturday. The site is about 20 miles north-northeast of Detroit.
