Police investigate armed robbery of Claymont gas station


CLAYMONT, Delaware — State police say a man armed with a knife robbed a gas station on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont.

Police say the man entered the BP station around 5:20 p.m. Friday with a dark shirt wrapped around his head. The man showed a knife to a gas station employee and demanded money, which the worker handed over.

Police say the man fled on foot. No one was injured.

Police are investigating and have not identified a suspect.
