CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Freshman Devin Sibley scored a season-best 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field to lead Furman to a 74-62 victory over The Citadel on Saturday afternoon.

Kendrec Ferrara finished with 12 points off the bench, Kris Acox had 10 points and tied a career-high with 13 rebounds, and Stephen Croone added 11 points and five assists for Furman (5-12, 3-4 Southern Conference).

The Citadel (8-10, 3-4) led 30-27 at the half, but a 9-1 run by Furman early in the second period put them in front and a 20-9 stretch midway through extending its lead to double digits.
