Authorities investigating house fire that claimed life of Harlan County woman

HAZARD, Kentucky — Authorities say a house fire in Harlan County claimed the life of a 26-year-old woman.

According to WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/1DXqxFp), the fire occurred early Sunday morning in the Stanfill community.

Authorities were told a woman was inside the house at the time of the fire.

They said the woman, who has not been identified, was unable to make it out of the home and was pronounced deceased by the Harlan County deputy coroner.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
