Arkansas basketball coach Mike Anderson announces signee of forward from Florida

FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — University of Arkansas basketball coach Mike Anderson has announced the signing of small forward from Florida to a national letter of intent.

Anderson said in a news release Thursday that Lorenzo Jenkins from First Baptist Academy in Naples, Florida, has signed with the Razorbacks.

Jenkins is a 6-foot-5 forward who averaged 14.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game at First Baptist Academy last season. He also averaged 1.3 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.8 assists per game and was named to the Class 3A All-State team.
