Buffett to mark 50th anniversary as CEO in letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders Saturday

OMAHA, Nebraska — Billionaire Warren Buffett will reflect on 50 years of leading Berkshire Hathaway in his annual letter to shareholders this year.

Buffett plans to release his much-anticipated annual letter and Berkshire's annual report on Saturday.

Buffett's letters are always well read by investors and people interested in his sage advice. This year, Buffett has promised to write about Berkshire's future over the next 50 years.

In addition to Buffett's letter, Berkshire Vice Chairman Charlie Munger has also written a letter for shareholders.

Berkshire is based in Omaha, Nebraska. The company owns more than 80 companies including insurance, utility, railroad, brick, restaurant, retail and chemical firms. Berkshire also holds major investments in Wells Fargo, Coca-Cola, IBM, American Express and other companies.
