Karl Cochran scores 18 to lead Wofford's comeback against UNC-Greensboro 77-62

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina — Karl Cochran scored 18 points and fueled a second-half comeback as Wofford defeated UNC-Greensboro 77-62 on Thursday.

Lee Skinner had 15 points and eight boards for the Terriers, while Eric Garcia added 13 points and Spencer Collins 10.

UNCG scored six of the last seven points in the first half to lead 35-25 at the break, as Wofford had a single point over the final 4:27 of the half, missing its last five shots.

The Terriers (22-6, 13-2 Southern) came out of intermission on fire, erasing the deficit over the first 6 ½ minutes as Cochran scored 10 points in a 23-10 run, and led 48-45 with 12:45 left.

Another 10-0 run late in the game, including 3s from Cochran and Garcia, sealed the win.

R.J. White led UNCG (8-20, 4-11) with 16 points. Tevon Saddler added 13 and Marvin Smith had 12.
