Grains futures, livestock prices mostly fall

CHICAGO — Grains futures mostly fell Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery slipped 0.5 cent to $6.825 a bushel; July corn fell 4.75 cents to $6.46 a bushel; July oats were flat at $4.0325 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 20.25 cents to $15.205 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.12 cent to $1.1940 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.42 cent to $1.455 a pound; July lean hogs fell 0.20 cent to 98.97 cents a pound.
