Del. State Police investigating bank robbery in Wilmington


WILMINGTON, Delaware — The Delaware State Police is investigating a bank robbery in Wilmington.

State police say it happened Thursday around 3 p.m. at the PNC Bank at 5325 Limestone Road. State police say a man approached a 24-year-old female teller, presented a note demanding money and implied he had a weapon. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled on foot. No one was injured.

State police describe the suspect as a white male between 25 and 30 years old and last seen wearing all dark clothing.
