Arkansas readies for SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala., have bye for first round

FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — Arkansas lost two of three games at Auburn over the weekend, but the Razorbacks still claimed the third seed for the Southeastern Conference tournament.

The Razorbacks get a first-round bye Tuesday and will play Wednesday in the early game at Hoover, Alabama First pitch is set for 9:30 a.m.

Arkansas is to play the winner of Tuesday's Ole Miss-Kentucky game.

Vanderbilt claimed the top seed in the tournament, and LSU is the second seed.

Arkansas finished the regular season at 35-19 overall, 18-11 in the SEC.

For the first time since the 2004 season, the Razorbacks won seven of 10 conference series.
