Moffat County High School student dies in collision with water truck

CRAIG, Colorado — A 17-year-old Moffat County High School student has died after his pickup truck hit a water truck near Craig.

Authorities say Torivio Tovar was westbound on U.S. 40 when he veered into the eastbound lane and hit the truck.

Steamboat Today reports (http://tinyurl.com/p96dele ) truck driver Jeffrey Higgs suffered minor injuries and the highway was closed for hours.
