Police seek reverse-hoodie-wearing suspect in Swanton bank robbery

SWANTON, Vermont — Swanton police are seeking a suspect who robbed a bank while wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt backward so it covered his face.

The robbery was reported to police at about 10:15 a.m. Monday. State and local police responded to the TD Bank along with agents from the U.S. Border Patrol.

Police say the sweatshirt's hood had eye holes cut in it so he could see and it appeared he wore sunglasses.

The suspect is described as between 5-feet-2 inches and 5-feet-6 inches tall and he weighed between 125 and 135 pounds.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Swanton police.
