ALBANY, New York — Sam Rowley scored 17 and grabbed eight rebounds, and Evan Singletary hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 1:04 to play on Wednesday night to help Albany extend its win streak to 10 with a 63-62 win over New Hampshire.

New Hampshire's Matt Miller hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight during a 14-0 run which tied the game at 58 with 1:21 remaining. Singletary's 3 just 17 seconds later gave the Great Danes the lead for good.

Two free throws by Jaleen Smith pulled the Wildcats within one, but Wheeler Baker answered with a pair of his own to make it 63-60 with two seconds left. Albany fouled and Smith hit two more from the stripe but, after an Albany turnover, Frank Okeke missed a potential winning 3.

Singletary finished with 15 points while Ray Sanders scored 13 for Albany (15-7, 10-0 America East).

Jacoby Armstrong led New Hampshire (13-10, 6-4), which had its five-game win streak snapped, with 18 points.
