Bozeman man dies in rollover crash, still under investigation

BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Gallatin County sheriff's office says a 62-year-old Bozeman man died in a rollover crash south of the city.

The Montana Highway Patrol says several vehicles were stopped on South 19th Avenue waiting to turn left at about 11:40 a.m. Thursday. The victim drove off 19th a few hundred feet before the line of cars, corrected back onto 19th and side-swiped a vehicle waiting to turn. The victim's GMC Jimmy rolled and he was ejected.

The coroner's office says Jerry Rickman died at Bozeman Deaconess hospital.

Braun tells the Bozeman Daily Chronicle (http://bit.ly/J3QQuT ) it's unclear why Rickman's vehicle went off the road.
