GREELEY, Colorado — Police are investigating after a teenage boy was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in Greeley.

The boy, whose name and age have not been released, was hit at the intersection of U.S. 34 and the U.S. Highway 85 Bypass at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the truck driver did not have time to react to the boy, who was run over while he was walking in the roadway.
