Boeser's 4 points help North Dakota to 6-2 win over Miami


GRAND FORKS, North Dakota — Brock Boeser had a goal and three assists to lead North Dakota to a 6-2 National Collegiate Hockey Conference win over Miami on Friday.

Boeser was one of six different players to score goals for third-ranked UND (8-1-2, 3-0-0 NCHC).

North Dakota scored three times in the first period and went up 5-0 before the RedHawks (5-5-1, 2-3-0) got on the scoreboard in the third period.

Paul LaDue, Nick Schmaltz, Drake Caggiula, Rhett Gardner and Bryn Chyzyk also scored for UND.

Miami got goals from Jack Roslovic and Josh Melnick.

Miami goalie Ryan McKay started and lasted one period. He was replaced by Jay Williams and they made 26 saves between them.

Matt Hrynkiw made 19 saves for UND.
