ROCHESTER, New York — Two of three men convicted in the drug-related slayings of three other men inside a suburban Rochester apartment have been sentenced.
Local media report that Richard Anderson and Aston Johnson were sentenced Tuesday in federal court to four consecutive life terms plus five years.
Federal prosecutors say Anderson and Johnson shot three men in a town of Greece apartment four years ago after a dispute over splitting up the proceeds of a multi-state marijuana-smuggling ring.
A third man convicted in December, Andrew Wright, faces sentencing April 24.
The bodies of Robert Moncriffe, Christopher Green and Mark Wisdom were found at the Holyoke Apartment Complex four years ago this month.
Anderson, Johnson and Wright were later arrested in Arizona. Authorities say the trio and the victims were Jamaicans involved in a marijuana trafficking network.
