Her performance last week:
“I think I did really well, considering the circumstances. It was not my best meet, but it was a good meet.”
Do you do anything special to prepare?
“All of the girls and I go to Panera before a meet to get a bagel. That’s kind of a tradition.”
“I drink coffee in the morning.”
“I have to treat myself to some ice cream once in a while.”
Favorite music group:
“The Divergent Series”
“My mom (Angie May).”
“Don’t let anything bring you down, because in gymnastics, you’re always going to have mistakes and mess-ups. You’re never going to have a perfect meet, so just keep on working at it.”
“Win state this year.”
If you could travel anywhere:
“I’d like to go to Paris to try all the foods and see the Eiffel Tower.”
