Roger Dale Hammack, 65, of Columbus, passed away at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his home.
He was employed at Cummins Engine Company were he worked in building maintenance. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
Roger loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson, and really enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Born in Columbus, November 22, 1949, Mr. Hammack was the son of Earl and Martha Grider Hammack.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca S. Coulter Hammack; a son, Israel (Sarah) Hammack of Columbus; a grandson, Jvasin Prentise Daniel Hammack of Columbus; brothers, James (Margie) Hammack and Kenneth (Jo Ellen) Hammack, both of Columbus; a sister, Mary Ann Coop of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Earl Prentice Hammack, in 2012, and a brother, Earl Dean Hammack.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date at Roger and Rebecca’s home.
