EDINBURGH — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close the northbound right lane of Interstate 65 between State Road 252 at Edinburgh and State Road 44 at Franklin tonight between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Northbound traffic will cross the median for access to the single inside lane on the west side during this closure.
On June 1 and June 2, no traffic will be allowed on the east side of I-65 at the Big Blue River bridge. Crews are scheduled to pour a new concrete deck on the right half of the 420-foot structure, weather permitting.
During those two days, motorists will be restricted to the single inside lane on the west side of the interstate between State Road 252 and State Road 44.
There will be no construction activities during the Memorial Day weekend, beginning at noon Friday. Work will resume Tuesday morning.
