Elizabeth “Betty” Wells, 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, in North Port, Florida.
Born in Franklin, Indiana, on November 16, 1921, to Roscoe and Cordelia Perkins, she grew up in Franklin and attended Franklin College. On May 4, 1942, she married Charles R. Wells Sr., in Columbus.
Survivors include her children, Charlie (Debbie) Wells Jr. of Columbus, Belinda (Mike) Rager of North Port, Florida, Teresa (Ken) Cornell of North Port, Florida, and Pamela (Thomas) Lego of Columbus; and grandchildren, Chuck Wells, Zachary Wells, Mackenzie Wells, Brittany Perdigon, Delaney Lego, Madelyn Lego, Scot Laudicina, Joseph Rager, Jennifer Rager, Rebecca Rager, Kenny Barnes, Roger Cornell, and Carl Cornell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles, her husband of 66 years; and her daughter, Rebecca Laudicina.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
