Norma S. West, 79, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at University Florida Health Shands.
Norma retired from Arvin Industries in 1999 after 45 years of service.
She was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Columbus and was a member of The Chapel of All Christian Faith in Florida.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Daryl Gressel officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born August 22, 1936, in Seymour, Mrs. West was the daughter of Guy and Madgie J. Dean Robbins.
She married Frank G. West on August 24, 1968.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Frank G. West; children, Cathy (Jeff) Deckard of Brown County and Sean (Heather) West of Raleigh, North Carolina; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Robbins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and four sisters.
