Roberta J. “Bobbi” Wells, 81, of Columbus, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, in Kindred Transitional Care of Columbus.

Born Oct. 18, 1933, in Brown County, Bobbi was the daughter of Courtney Crouch and Ruth Crouch Anthony. She married Robert Wells on May 1, 1952, in Columbus. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2011.

Over her lifetime, Bobbi had been a secretary for the local Carpenter’s Union, a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church, Jonesville Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Psi Iota Psi Sorority and enjoyed her Euchre games with friends. Bobbi was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving Bobbi are her daughters; Debbie (Rob) Perkins, North Vernon, Donna Wells and Dee Dee (Tony) Sanders, both of Columbus; brothers, Curt Crouch, Nashville and Dan Crouch, Washington State; grandson, Matt (Sarah) Perkins, Carmel; great-grandchildren, Zoe Barnsfather, Columbus, Ethan and Gideon Perkins, Carmel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Joe Crouch; and a grandson, Zach Barnsfather.

The funeral service for Bobbi will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, in Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St. with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time.
