The Indiana Department of Transportation’s inspection of State Road 46’s cable stay bridge over the East Fork White River will require lane closings between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. today and Wednesday.
Timing of the work avoids the morning drive time.
Bridge inspectors will begin working today in the right lane and the right turn lane of the eastbound State Road 46 bridge.
Wednesday, inspections are scheduled from the center and left through lanes.
During the interruptions, motorists will be routed across the bridge through open lanes.
