Penelope S. “Pennie” Greenlee, 71, of Columbus, died at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at her home.

Born December 24, 1943, in Nashua, New Hampshire, Mrs. Greenlee was the daughter of Albert and Peggy Schnider Spaulding. She married William Junior Greenlee March 4, 1961. He preceded her in death October 25, 2011.

A homemaker, Mrs. Greenlee was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church and the Ladies Aid Society at the church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, fishing, and playing X-Box games.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Ann Taylor and Pamala Strevels, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Zach (Samantha) Greenlee of Columbus, Charity Taylor (Richard Kidd) of Cincinnati, Hope Eisenmenger of Columbus, Billy (Jessica) Cowan of Columbus, and Troy Cowan (Amanda Hoover) of Columbus; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Spaulding of Kentucky; and a nephew, Logan Spaulding of Chicago.

Mrs. Greenlee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Billy Joe Greenlee; and a son-in-law, Ron Strevels.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Don Asbury officiating.

Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday.

Burial will be at Lambert Cemetery.
