Mrs. Edna Elizabeth “Betty” Harvey Otte, 104, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center.
Betty was born March 18, 1911, in Bloomingdale, Indiana, to the late James Harvey and Addie Mae (Lewis) Burton. She married Alonzo E. Harvey, and then Hubert Otte, both of whom preceded her in death.
Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and visiting the Senior Citizens Club in Seymour where she loved playing in the kitchen band and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, James B. Harvey and Lonnie Harvey; grandchildren, Terri R. (David) Brewer, James B. (Tracy) Harvey II, Elizabeth I. (William) Barr, Lynn (Robert) Pearson, Cathy Jo Tscheulin, Karyn S. (Brad) Rumph, Billy Harvey and Kristy (Andy) Wienhorst; 17 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a daughter, Patricia Ann Frische, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Voss Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Steve Barrett officiating. Burial will take place at Crothersville Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday after 9 a.m. until time of service.
Memorials can be given to Seymour Senior Citizens Center or the donor’s choice of charities.
