Jesse W. Law, 71, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away at his home Thursday morning, December 3, 2015.

Jesse was born February 7, 1944, in Crothersville, to Jesse E. and Ethel (Berry) Law. He was a 1963 Crothersville High School graduate and served in the Air Force. On August 2, 1970, in Seymour, Indiana, Jesse married Sandra K. (Ritz) Law, who survives in Crothersville.

Jesse retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2008 after 44 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Crothersville, Crothersville Salvation Army, Tri County Conservation Club, Crothersville Historical and Cultural Arts Association, Giggles and More Clown Ministry and Seymour American Legion, and was a proud recipient of the Jackson County Historical Society Pioneer Award. He was a collector of old wrenches, watch fobs, and key chains.

Jesse’s pride and joy were his grandchildren who he loved dearly and enjoyed playing with.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandra; three children, Thomas E. (Shannon Reppen) Law of Janesville, Wisconsin, Janice (Chris) Rider of Seymour and Jesse W. (Heather) Law Jr. of Uniontown, Indiana; four grandchildren, Jacob Law of Janesville, Wisconsin, Shelby Rider of Seymour, Owen Law of Uniontown, and Ruby Margaret Law of Uniontown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Norma Pheral.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Crothersville with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery.

Friends may visit Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville and after 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel United Church of Christ.

Memorial donations may be given in memory of Jesse to the Crothersville Historical and Cultural Arts Association, in care of Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 110 E. Howard St., Crothersville, IN 47229.
