Pauline Louise Henderson, 93, of Nineveh, formerly of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. Henderson was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Ralph B. and Ruth E. Davis Chambers.

Pauline was a homemaker and did hair for family and friends out of her home.

She touched the lives of numerous people as a caregiver for loved ones. Pauline was a member of the Columbus Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Richard T. (Janet) Whipker of Penrose, Colorado, James D. (Barbara) Whipker of Nashville, Indiana; a daughter, Judith Ann Walker of Moorsville, Indiana; a sister, Delphia M. (Donald) Lucas of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Regina Whipker McDonald, Gwyn Walker Myrick, Dawn Walker Seyerle, Rhonda Whipker Butler, Cathy Whipker Yeley, Renea Whipker Lawson, Julie Whipker Clemins and Raymond Whipker; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice of charity.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at Jewell‐Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Castle officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence D., Raymond L. and James B. Chambers; and sister, Mary K. Bryant.
