Helping with ch-ching and ch-change: United Way of Bartholomew County needs volunteer financial coaches to confidentially help people develop an action plan to meet financial goals and solidify their financial future. The trained coaches will help people identify resources and offer general guidance, support and encouragement. Needed for a six-month basis. Hablas español? The Boys and Girls Club of Columbus needs a bilingual Spanish Learning Center teaching assistant to help teach Spanish and Spanish culture to children ages 4 to 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at Foundation for Youth, 405 Hope Ave. in Columbus. A not-so-taxing task: United Way 2-1-1 needs volunteers to answer phones and/or return calls for people to schedule appointments for free tax-preparation assistance through March 31.
