Gertrude “Sally” Coryell Shafer, 92, of Ashland City, Tennessee, died at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Ashland City Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Marian Perry of Ashland City; three sons, Bob Cantu of Detroit, James Coryell of Lincoln Park, Michigan, and Robert Coryell of Reading, Michigan; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Francis Coryell and Ernie Shafer.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon with Deacon Larry French officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude Children’s Hospital through the funeral home.
