Looking Back – March 7


Columbus Regional Hospital and Irwin Union Bank were honored in the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s first “Best Places to Work in Indiana” program. Three dozen companies statewide were chosen for the honor based on employer reports and employee surveys.


Indiana Prairie Farmer magazine selected Columbus Municipal Airport Farm and adjoining land, 1,400 acres in all, for its annual Farm Progress Show in 1992.


Columbus High School added another crown to its list of achievements when the gymnastics team won the regional competition at North Central High School.
