Correction
Because of a Republic error, a statement in a story about a medical malpractice trial was incorrect in the March 8 edition. Special Judge Richard W. Poynter did not make a ruling on photographs allegedly taken and posted on a social media site by Morgan Ashley. The photographs were not offered into evidence.
