SWAT team involved in Elm Street drug raid; toddler found at residence

Columbus Police Department SWAT team members, assisted by the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, recovered methamphetamine, marijuana and counterfeit money in a drug raid just before midnight Tuesday. A toddler-age child was found in the residence and released to a family member.

Daniel C. Miller, 24, Columbus, was arrested on charges of:

  • Two counts of dealing in methamphetamine
  • Dealing in marijuana
  • Maintaining a common nuisance
  • Neglect of a dependent
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Counterfeiting
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a controlled substance

April N. Hupp, 24, Columbus, was arrested on charges of:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Neglect of a dependent
  • Maintaining a common nuisance
