Columbus man arrested on domestic battery charge

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus man was arrested on a domestic battery charge after he was accused of battering his partner.

Esteban Loeza-Mendez, 40, 825 S. National Road, was arrested on charges of domestic battery, criminal confinement and strangulation, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputy Brent Worman was sent to the address at about 5:43 a.m. Sunday after a female reported she had been battered by Loeza-Mendez, deputies said.
