Weather conditions move Men Take a Stand event indoors

A forecast for rain and cooler conditions has moved today’s Men Take a Stand event indoors.

Weather permitting, a local effort to increase awareness about domestic violence will begin outside Columbus City Hall at 11:45 a.m., according to Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.

A short program scheduled to begin at noon has been moved indoors, now taking place in the Cal Brand Meeting Room of City Hall.

Main speaker for the fifth annual event is Austin Lewis, chair of the 2016 Dance Marathon and past member of the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence Youth Council.
