Ivy Tech names interim chancellor

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College has named Kathleen Mote as interim chancellor for the college system’s Columbus/Southeast region.

She fills the position formerly held by chancellor Chris Lowery, who was named Ivy Tech’s senior vice president of workforce alignment in September.

Mote’s responsibilities will include cultivating and fostering cooperation and support of the college with educational, business and community leaders and providing leadership in guidance within academic affairs, student affairs, finance, facilities, among others.
