Pastor Jane Sims presented with Beloved Community Award

Pastor Jane A Sims, co-pastor of Calvary Community Church in Columbus, received the Beloved Community Award this morning at the 20th Annual Community Breakfast celebrating the life of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

She and her husband, Bishop Charles A. Sims, founded Calvary Community Church in 1975. An established editor, writer, teacher, and seminar leader, she has a passion for ministry to women.

She graduated from Crispus Attacks High School and Butler University, and received her theological degrees from Indiana Bible College, and Pentecostal Bible College. She has also received a Master of Theological Studies Degree from Christian Theological Seminary and an M.T.S. and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Calvary Midwest Bible College.
