Sarah Marie Holderman, 35, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Muncie, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Jan. 22, 2017, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis of acute pancreatitis.
Sarah was born February 11, 1981, the daughter of Don C. and Becky Hodler Holderman of Noblesville, formerly of Muncie.
Sarah was a 1999 graduate of Muncie Central High School and earned a Cosmetologist License in 2003. Sarah graduated with honors from Ivy Tech in 2010 with a degree in Medical Assisting. Then, in 2011, she attained her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, and in 2012 attained her Certified Medical Assistant Certification. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Adam C. (Carrie) Holderman of McCordsville; a nephew and niece, Evan C. and Morgan M.; an uncle, M. Andy Hodler; cousins, Andrea Hodler and Shannon Beck, and Shannon’s sons, Christian and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul C. and Hildreth M. Hodler and Glen C. and Evelyn D. Holderman.
The joy of Sarah’s life was being able to spend time with her niece and nephew.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
