NORTH VERNON — North Vernon police are investigating a body found under a bridge on North State Street.
Officers were sent to the bridge at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday where they found a deceased male under the bridge, police said. The man appeared to have been dead for several hours.
Police said it did not appear any foul play was involved, but evidence of drug use was found at the scene.
The identity of the man is being withheld under family has been notified, police said.
