A Columbus resident was among the 37 students who received college scholarships from Sallie Mae Bank.
Hayden Kleinhenz received $5,000 from Sallie Mae’s annual Utah scholarship program for aspiring engineers, nurses, teachers and health professionals.
Kleinhenz attends Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is pursuing a degree in nursing.
The annual scholarship program provides financial assistance to qualifying Utah students who are seeking careers in high-demand professions in the state.
