An Elizabethtown woman was arrested on drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
A vehicle driven by Tasha Wooten, 28, of 107 11th St., Elizabethtown, was stopped by Bartholomew County sheriff’s deputy Teancum Clark at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday at State Road 9 and County Road 450N, deputies said.
After noticing a strong odor of marijuana, Clark found other drugs and drug-related items before arresting Wooten, deputies said.
Wooten was cited for driving while suspended with a prior conviction and on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, deputies said.
She was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $65,000 bond, jail officials said.
